Learn on the farm this fall with these events:

• Plein Air Painting - September 15-17

  Break out your easels and brushes to enjoy natural beauty in the peak of growing season on the Project GROWS farm! The farm will be open for painters to visit at their own leisure. Artists will then display their art at art show on Friday, September 18.

• Canning Apple Pie Filling - October 17

  Join Betty Clifton, a life-long canner and teacher, to learn how to make delicious apple pie filling and preserve it using a water bath canner. You will take home one jar of apple pie filling (which will be great for holiday cooking) and the skills to make your own next year!

• Wreath Making - November 28

  Join Laura-Beth Dawson and Erin Wright, owner of Quince and Burdock, to get into the holiday spirit! You will craft your very own wreath using a variety of natural materials to take home for the holidays. A great early-Christmas gift for yourself or a loved one!

• Mushroom Foraging, POSTPONED - new date TBD
  Join Victoria and Christopher Vacher of Enchanted Nature for an introduction to the hidden world of fungi. In this workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of mycology and mushroom foraging, including identifying features of a few of the toxic and edible mushrooms that grow in our region.
